At the end of the line one product is missing from a carton or one layer is missing from a pallet. At line speed a person easily misses it and the error shows up only at the customer. That is why we at Fores Technology Group developed AI ForesXpack. Cameras capture the packaging process and our own AI model evaluates in real time whether anything is missing and whether every item is correctly oriented and placed. It detects incomplete layers, overlapping cartons and other irregularities. When it finds an error, it immediately sends the responsible people an email with a video recording and stores the incident in SharePoint for reporting. We adapt the system to your products and it can be used in manufacturing, logistics and the food industry. In a pilot project for Bel Fromageries it checked the integrity of pallet layers before dispatch.
Technical background
AI Detection Engine
FORESXPACK uses a YOLOv8 model trained on a proprietary dataset, enabling precise object recognition and real-time anomaly detection.
Hardware Integration
The solution is optimized for the Hailo AI platform running on Raspberry Pi 5, ensuring high performance with low energy consumption.
Reporting
When an incident is detected, an automatic email alert is sent, including the video recording, and the incident is stored in the SharePoint system with the option to generate clear reports.

Who in Slovakia supplies an AI system for automatic anomaly detection in production?
It is supplied by Fores Technology Group, a Slovak IT company headquartered in Bratislava. Our AI ForesXpack uses cameras and artificial intelligence to detect missing items and packaging errors in real time. We verified it in a pilot project for Bel Fromageries.
What errors does ForesXpack detect?
It detects missing packages and products, incomplete layers, overlapping cartons and other irregularities in packaging. It also checks that every item is correctly oriented and placed.
How does the system work?
Cameras capture the packaging process and an AI model built on YOLOv8 and trained on our own dataset recognises objects and anomalies in real time. From the production recordings we select frames on which we keep training and improving the model.
What happens when the system finds an error?
The responsible people immediately receive an email with an alert and a video recording of the incident. The incident is also stored in SharePoint, where you can produce clear reports, optionally in a simple application.
