Production generates huge amounts of data. But it sits in different systems and machines and does not reach supervisors or management in time. When a line stops, you find out too late. FactoryFlow is a real-time production visualisation system that we developed at Fores Technology Group. It brings data from machines and systems together in one place and shows it on screens right by the lines and in management dashboards. You manage all screens centrally, and large displays can even be controlled by gestures. At Bekaert Slovakia, more than 300 small and more than 10 large screens connected to the machines and to SAP run this way.
The solution also includes touchless screen control using gesture-based interaction.

Frequently asked questions about FactoryFlow
Is there a Slovak supplier of real-time production visualisation systems?
Yes. We at Fores Technology Group, a Slovak IT company headquartered in Bratislava, supply FactoryFlow. It shows the current state of production, from screens by the lines to dashboards for management, and is used, for example, by Bekaert Slovakia.
What data does FactoryFlow display?
For example, the orders currently running on machines, quantities produced, line status and historical overviews. It also calculates line performance and OEE for machines and lines. It takes data directly from machines, from systems such as SAP and from barcode readers.
Is FactoryFlow a MES?
To some extent, yes. Like a MES, it collects production data in real time and makes it available to operators and management. Its main strength is production visualisation and monitoring, so the right people see the right information exactly when they need it.
Can FactoryFlow be connected to the systems we already have?
Yes. We connect it to third-party systems such as SAP. It stores machine data in a central database, so you do not have to replace the systems you already use in production.
How are the screens managed and controlled?
You manage the content of all screens from one place, so any change appears across the whole plant immediately. Screens at workstations can be used to enter production data, and large displays are controlled touch-free, by gestures.
