Takenaka Project Risk Management System

The information system developed for Takenaka Europe is designed for efficient management and visualization of risks across various projects in Europe, providing detailed progress reports and real-time information for effective decision-making.

CHALLENGE

Takenaka faced the challenge of centralizing data and ensuring its consistency in risk management across projects throughout Europe. Their goal was to replace outdated manual processes and unify them on a platform that supports collaboration and provides an overview of project risks.

SOLUTION

RISK MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
During the analysis phase, meetings were held with the Takenaka team to thoroughly specify all their requirements. The result of the analysis was documentation that described the current state and a detailed functional specification of the requirements for the desired state.

We designed a solution based on the Power Apps platform utilizing SharePoint Online and Power Automate, which offers flexibility, accessibility from any device, and real-time data tracking.

This application provides:

  • Real-time monitoring of project risks and progress
  • Collaboration among different teams on a single project
  • Reports integration for better data visualization and risk area identification

 

POWER APPLICATION
We collect data on risk statuses, progress at project stages, stakeholder lists, COR changes, and timelines. Data is gathered seamlessly from users via our Power Apps application.

 

POWER AUTOMATE
Data is collected directly from users through the Power Apps application, maintained and processed using SharePoint Online and Power Automate. Based on the input data, the system generates automated reports on project status, development indicators, and identified risks, enabling managers to make better and faster decisions.
